Trading Post #31 - AmonOmega

Bonjour everyone! We have a new winner - AmonOmega, and what a fantastique character he has presented us with - a very unusual mixed breed indeed!

Well, it took me a bit to consider who to have for the trading post... But I've finally decided on one of my newer characters!

Kowl! He's a red panda/tiger hybrid. Bearing more resemblance to the panda part of his family as far as colours and markings, but there is something most certainly feline in his appearance, though it's more subtle than anything. It's hard to describe!

Personality wise, generally he's one of those lovable jerks, so to speak. He's not afraid to speak his mind if he knows you well enough, but sometimes he can get his foot in his mouth. Quite often he'll be trying to convince someone to explore beyond
the 'no trespassing' sign- that kind of thing. :)
He's on the athletic side as he loves soccer, but he's no dumb jock.

I wouldn't mind seeing different interpretations of his personality and other hobbies he could have!

Sorry my references aren't very clean, his official turnaround is still a work in progress... Just have fun! I look forward to seeing what folks come up with, and thanks again for the awesome votes.

Well, this turned out to be more of a consuming project than I thought. But that's just the way it goes with me I guess. Half my day is gone because I'm so obsessive. :P

Wow Vizon you did all that in one sitting?? Came out amazing! Great blend of the two species too, if I didn't know what they were already I'd have guessed tiger and red panda.

Thanks guys! And yeah, Kooky - one obsessive compulsive five-hour sitting. Probably not the healthiest method...but I hate walking away from something unfinished or sub-par. It's still got some issues. I'd like to see what everyone else comes up with!

I think Vizon scared everyone away on this one. ^.^ I've got a sketch going at least and inking so working on it!

Vizon: Been looking more closely at your picture and aside from the face, which of course grabs the most attention, I have to say that is one really well rendered soccer ball! Very realistic looking and felt it needed pointing out. Hehe.

Thanks, Kooky - he's got some shoulder issues though. I might fix them yet on my own time. As for scaring everyone away, I'm not sure I'm going to even be around this weekend for if I did win...so unless there aren't three entries by Friday I think my entry should be excluded this time around.

Didn't go out tonight like I usually do so got to futz around at home and finished up my submission. Yay! :) Never drew a panda before and stink at felines so this wasn't easy for me. :P Hehe. Teasing about the Monocle again that AmonOmega put on Shadis and thought anyone could look a bit more upper class with a monocle! Or maybe more just like Mr. Peanut. Hmmmm. Either way. :D Hoping the feline bit comes across in the muzzle area but I dunno. ^.^

Thanks guys. ^.^ And oh yeah, only the most civil drink their tea with their pinky jutting out. ;) Hands were a pain and one holding the saucer especially could've been done better. *pouts* Thanks though!

Well it appears we are caught in a bit of a Catch-22, my friends! We only need one more entry to start the poll, but if we do get another entry, Vizon will retract her entry. Hence, I will be extending this so-called weekly contest to two weeks, until we can garner more participation! The new deadline will be May 2nd.
