Bamboo Fun Troubleshooting

Well, I've ordered my first tablet, Wacom Bamboo Fun and I'm not really good with this kind of stuff. The problem is, when I go on Open Canvas, my pressure sensitivity and eraser don't work. I installed it correctly and the driver is working so that isn't the problem. I called tech support and he said that the program must be the problem and that it doesn't sound like it's the tablet. However I told him that I know people who are using the same program as me and it works fine for them with the same type of tablet. So I deleted my open canvas and they copied me their version and it still doesn't work. I'm going to install the tablet on another computer and see if it works somewhere else to see if it's the computer. If it is, do you know anything that might be stopping it from having the pressure work?

I have a Bamboo Fun as well and I had trouble too. I use a PC, so I just went into the Pen Tablet properties via the Control Panel and adjusted it until it was drawing lines. Do you have a PC or a Mac?

I use a PC. I messed with the properties a bit too with the tech but I'll try editing the properties again and see if I overlooked something.

I have bamboo fun as well. But I can't think of what might be wrong.

I personally think it's the computer and that I need to reformat it. Nothing seems to be working including Maya 7 that I just bought. :(

Darn, that would suck if you had to reformat! I was going suggest a dumb idea...have you tried using it in another drawing program like MS Paint to see if it works?

yes, I have. I tried using it on Gimp and no luck. I thought of that before.
