Hmm! This would actually be new. I don't know about any issue where artists that are favorited become unfavorited. That's generally been pretty solid. Although.. hmm, perhaps if they delete a gallery or something. I'll have to look into this.

It has been a while so perhaps this was when it was buggy? Let me know if this was a known glitch from way back when. If not no worries. I'll just refavorite them again and again :)

The "Trash" should appear when you are inside a folder. It does not show up on the main screen because none of the images can technically be "trashed." If you were to go into your Favorites folder (or any other you make), the Trash should show up.

Oh I feel rather silly, but I've been unable to find the trash folder. All I see is the "favorites" and "add new folder" icons.

I have to say THANK YOU so much for all the effor that obviously went into this. This system, in my oppinion, is far superior to any other art site I have visited thus far.

Sorry for the late reply, just coming off a holiday break and all. Right now you can organize the folders by dragging them up and down. This still has a small issue or two associated with it (the second time you drag a folder, you will go into that folder) but for the most part it works and will be refined in a bit. :) Or are you looking for some sort of sort pull-down like how thumbnails are sorted?

Finally, it has happened, after a long wait and much, much.. oh so much coding—or so I am told—the favorites have finally been made a bit more normal! We had tried a new approach, and it turned out to confuse more people than it helped. So we opted for a more traditional favorites system. One where you add favorites when you, well, want to add a favorite. But we could not do it like everyone else, no. That would be too easy! Now, everyone has a Favorites folder. Here is where all your favorites go, as the name would imply, yes yes. Anything favorites you had are now in there. And, when you go to your Favorites page, you will see all the recent artwork from all your favorite artists. Much like Recents, except only those you are watching. So, you can go and add a picture like normal, clicking on the +heart when you are viewing a picture. Or you can drag the thumbnail onto your Favorites folder. Yes, give it a try. On top of that, you can create more folders to organize art into categories, groups of things that tickle your fancy, or perhaps stuff that just is not a favorite of yours but you want to keep around anyway. Drag into these as well. It gets better, though, it does! There should be a picture to that right, and in that picture should be some folders, and one of those folders has little pawprints on it. What kind of folder is that, you may wonder? A "Fetch Folder!" A Fetch Folder has a search term applied to it, much like the Search page we have, but inside a folder. When you first create one, it does a search and collects all the images that match your terms, placing them into the folder. Then, you can delete what you do not want, add pieces that might not have been found, and next time you open it, anything new that matches the terms are added. Nifty, no? Play around with them. Have fun. All this is new, and while we did a lot of testing, one or two things may have slipped through. If there are any glitches, or suggestions, please do let us know!
