TRADING POST #26 - KoOkY

Hello, hello! Time yet again for another Trading Post! This time it's the fox KoOkY, who has the toony thing going for him, but as we will soon see, there's more about. Here's what he has to say:

Yaaaay! Happy to be the one chosen for the next TP. Afraid just havea boring
fox character though. Lemme try to follow along in those other formats
that've been getting used.

KoOkY!
STATS

Gender: Male
Species: Red Fox
Anthro or Non-Anthro: Anthro
Body Type: Average.
Main Fur Color: Typical red fox fur mix of red and orange, leaning more
towards the red. Typical black/grey gloves, socks and ear-tips. White tipped
tail and white fur down from the muzzle over chest, stomach and down to
mid-way of the inner thighs. Usually pale pink or white on the inside of the
ears.
Eye Color: Blue.
Paw pad Color: Pink.
Hair Color: None, just my fuzzy head where the fur is a bit longer up top.

Clothing: I suppose depends on what variation you're looking at. The more
toonish version of myself usually just wears the blue denim shorts. The more
realistic (or at least as close to realistic as I draw) has more of a tribal
look, just wearing a loincloth and sometimes a tattered cloak/cape. I'll try
to find some samples for the reference.
Personality: KoOkY! is pretty much just myself. To steal Jonas' line,
"Geeky, artistic, and possessing of an absurdist sense of humor and a
tendency to irreverently mock things -- including himself." :D

INTERESTS

Core interests: Drawing, Legos (I have this awesome Star Destroyer, like
5000 pieces!), love to drive, chess, piano, guitar, video games when I get
time, walking through the woods on a snowy evening, etc.

TV Shows/Movies: Watership Down, Disney's Robin Hood (yeah never find people
into those two. :P) Doctor Who!, Lost, Card Capture Sakura (shut up, it's
cute!), Star Wars, bad horror movies, Mythbusters, Monthy Python.

Music: Pink Floyd is my all-time favorite band EVER, Rush, Yes, Queen, all
types of progressive rock type. Old 80's metal is also lot of fun.

Books: Wish had more time to read. :P Steven King, Harry Potter, started on
Narnia at least.

REFERENCES

Wow there's not that much actually that I can think of, nobdy's really drawn
me much, including myself. Hehe.

That's more the tribal thing that I was rambling about, though obviously not
a coyote and not whatever is on his feet, I dunno what I was trying to do
with that. Hehe.

Well, there you have it! Time to put the pencils to paper. Or other related art materials, if that's your fancy!

Great, gonna draw something this time around. Gotta kick my butt into shape and do one. xD

Hmm, I might just give this a go. When is the deadline for art?

Man, I was so pleased to see Narnia on your book list! I've just started reading the series too and have been dying to do some Narnia art! :D

Wow!!! That is awesome Sudan. :) Thanks a ton! Was hoping you'd get some time to take part in the TP. And glad I could give you a reason to draw what you'd been wanting to draw. Hehe. I'm so cute. ^.^ Do you do your work in Illustrator or PS or ?

And for the books I'm actually still on the Magician's Nephew only, but of course I know the famous lamppost in the picture from the animation and the more recent live action movie. :) Cheers!

No problem! I work almost exclusively in Illustrator (I love me them vectors!). :)

I'm about halfway through the Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe. You'll meet the lamppost soon! ;)

I missed these. Just lines for now, I have every intention of coloring it...we'll see.

Ancient Graffiti

All I need is the rest of the week and I should be finished. :D

Not done with this, still in progress, I just wanted to show something, cause don't know when this one ends. But here.

I guess I'll do the same since I've been pretty busy this week due to midterms and don't know if I'll be able to put in much time this week to get it finished. (I will definately try though) Here's what I got so far.

Well if everyone else is going to post unfinished things then I am too. ;D

I hope I will have time to finish this ... but this is what I have so far :3

Whoo, I'm the original gangsta! :D Came out great though, thanks!! Your gallery post mentioned crayola, you did that with just crayon? Crayola's kick butt. Hehe.

Now now, nobody panic, Toulouse always gives us warning before he shuts it down. :D REALLY like what I'm seeing though so far! I know everyone is busy with conventions and school and stuff so don't worry if you can't finish what ya's started. But you must!! :D

Crayola colored pencils. There might have been a Prang floating around in there too.

Ahhhh okay. I should try some traditional coloring again sometime, I do like the look of colored pencils. Got a box of Prisma ones back home that I haven't touched in years. :P

Ooh, yay. I finished all my pre-midterm stuff early so hopefully I'll be able to get it done before the weekend. :D

Heh well, it's not exactly me ... this guy's got horns instead of ears, and a different mohawk thing. XD But he's a similar type of dragon!

And yeah ... I have a few days off now so with any luck it'll be done!
