Hmmmms, just seems like he got stretched horizontally somehow which I guess is making him look stunted. Just did a quick resize in PS (at work so didn't mess with it too much) and thought that helped the stunted look. The pose itself looks really good though! Nothing jumping out at me at least but I have trouble with the quadrupeds too. Hehe.

Moar gift sketchez. I don't know when exactly I decided pressure sensitivity was a bad thing, but I'm certainly glad I started using it again. It makes things so much less scribbly. But yes! Sketch for a friend, kinda turned out..uhm. Stunted. I need more practice with sitting poses. Red-line if you care to, 'cause I need to learn.

Lol. I did contemplate just leaving the rubber ducky there for comedic value. I think I came to the conclusion I'd do another spoof version with it in :P And thanks! I'm looking forward to seeing the final version too, lol..I need to get back to working on it :]

Finally spent some more time on this. Another couple hours and it should be ready to color. And the duck's a place holder..I still need to figure out what to put there, lol.

Lol, well I'm glad he's recognizable at least :P It's a shame Real Adventures wasn't more popular. I loved it. Not too hot on the original JQ though.

Where do you find these brushes? I heard some people made some pretty nice fur texture ones too though can't find any for PS 6.0 which is what I use. Maybe I need to upgrade. Hehe.

Yeah, I found a few fur sets. I don't know much about the compatibility of brushes with older versions of Photoshop..but I get the feeling most of them are for at least 7.0 onward. I use CS2. If you do upgrade, then a quick google search for "Photoshop brushes" will give you everything you need. There are also tutorials on how to install and use the brushes floating around online (although most of it's fairly logical). Good luck! :]

Thanks, Vizon :D I've discovered over the last year that loose sketching is really the best way to go about things. It helped me a lot to take the blinders off and not overly-focus on the details until the refining stage.

And thanks too, KoOkY :] Trust me, a little practice goes a long way; I didn't really start drawing people until the end of last year when I was forced to by assignments. I'm regretting not drawing them earlier now, they're actually a lot of fun! -- Image included is a sketch I spent the last hour or so on. I also liked where this one was headed, so if the Patience Gods are smiling down on me tomorrow, I might work on it some more. Crits are welcome, as always! :]

And here are some "cafe" sketches. They're more like "drawn in my room" sketches, but for the sake of passing life drawing..yeah *shifts eyes* I'll be getting on all the arts I promised this week. So there should be quite a few updates :]
