Eeeek, I totally planned to do something for this round but I have been supremely busy this past week or so!! @__@ Sorry Sudan! Heh ... about the time length for the poll--Thornwolf mentioned maybe shortening the length of time used to vote, but I personally like it at two days--it gives more people a chance to vote, and if anyone else is like me they might not get onto the computer every day to check ... :3 By the way, everyone did an awesome job this time ... really awesome!!

Yikes! Sorry for the absence guys! I had a particularly hectic week! D: Arlene - What lovely textures! His expression is adorable - "Hmmm did I leave the stove on?" Pac - Great stylization! I will forever be amazed at the range some people can get from plain old pencil. Thornwolf - Hahahah! What a cocky rendition! Loving those hooves! Vizon - Wow!! I think this is exactly the transition between animal and human skin that my buddy wanted. The big cloud of locusts gave me chills... KoOkY - Ooohnoooes! I like the every 10 days method. I'm new here, so I don't really have much input, positive or negative. If you need a way to keep it fresh in your mind (and everyone else's), what if you used monthly dates instead of week days? You could say every first of the month, tenth of the month, and twentieth of the month, would be trading post starting days. On every 8th, 18th, and 29th you could close entries and open up the poll, and then the winner could be announced 24 hours later, with some time to spare for the winner to submit his/her character request. Leaves the last "week" of the month a bit longer, so maybe you could do something fun and different with that, like "theme week" or something. Wouldn't have to be complicated themes. You could even have the winner pick his/her own theme. OK, too many suggestions are beginning to happen, becase my [other] 2am personality is starting to take over, so I'll stop now.

That's okay Toulouse. I actually did have the sketch done in time but didn't post it figuring I had time to color it. The TP I won lasted like....a month! ;) I know FC was the cause for that though, just teasing. It'd probably be impossible to have the TP's start on the same day of the week with all of the variables in there like you said. Only thing you could do really is have a set length of time for the submissions. Whether a week or 10 days or whatever you think would work. Also a couple times I remember seeing a note on the front page that was like, "Time to vote! Check out the Trading Post forum." (I'm ad libbing, I forget the verbiage) and thought that was a good idea to bring in more traffic for the voting, though don't remember seeing that past couple times. Too much of a pain?

Sorry to everyone if I caught them off guard with the poll! This was actually my attempt at trying to get the TP back to normal! The thing is, if I let it go for its full designated week (which everyone certainly deserves!) there's still the time it takes for the poll to be completed (about a day and a half) then there's also the time I have to wait until the next chosen one sends me their email with their character description, so there goes another day or so. So really, it's pretty impossible for me to keep things going -that- regularly, and I admit I've been very bad about this in the past. I apologize! The rest of our staff is catching up on reviews. You know what they say, work before pleasure! If anyone has any suggestions on how I can keep things working like clockwork, I would /definitely/ love to hear them! Like I said, I'm trying to be better about keeping things running smoothly :) I'd like to hear your input! And Kooky that is a very wonderful sketch. I very much apologize for pulling the rug out from under you like that, but honestly my first thought was "well this started on Tuesday, its now Wednesday, time to poll it up!" Thanks everyone!
